Mass celebrated by His Beatitude
Patriarch Bechara Boutros Al- Raii.
Nov 13,2011:The
peak of the celebrations was prominent in the joyful visit of His
Beatitude Bechara Boutros Al-Raii to our school in the presence of
Brother visitor Régis Robbe, Brother coordinator Emile Akiki,the
director Mr Selim Gereige, in addition to representatives from different
Lasallian schools, teachers and families, students and parents ,scouts,
alumni, the Lasallian family members, school and university directors
and representatives of official corps and organizations (municipalities,
associations, military corps..) along with people coming from the
surrounding villages and from Tripoli.
His Beatitude celebrated the mass with His
Excellency George Abou Jaoude and a number of bishops and priests.The
school choir served the ceremony, guided by Mr Mario Mannah.
At the end of the mass, Brother Régis and
Brother Emile Akiki and the director Mr Gereige offered His Beatitude a
commemorative plaque representing the images of the school in Tripoli
and in Deddeh.
After the ceremony,His Beatitude unveiled a
marble tablet, placed in the garden in front of the administration
building ,and that as a tribute to his glorious visit.
