Entertainment at the service of the language

Under the patronage of the school principal, MR. Salim GEREIGE, and his presence with the collaboration of coordination of the French coordinators, MR. Fadi TOUMA, and MRS Mona MATTA, also with the French teachers, the students of St Joseph at “Collège des Frères” in Deddeh had an appointment with two French singers, Georges ALLAERT, Demon HERVE on Wednesday morning on 11-11-2009 .

The two singers performed cute songs where the students responded in attractively after they were asked to share the two singers with the words of the songs which are directly related to everyday life. The children showed a high skill in memorising both the words and tunes of the songs, and giving a very good impression cultural and intellectual level. The two singers expressed their great admiration for those young listeners.

We should admit here that the style of this couple in performing songs was new and successful, where everybody shared in making the moments of entertainment a successful way for learning. Repeating such activities is of great benefit and pleasure.

Finally, the school principal, MR Salim GEREIGE, expressed his gratitude to such a successful work. Also the principal of the French Cultural Center expressed his admiration for those young talents. Brother El. SARKIS expressed his satisfaction too, towards this leading step.

After this little event, we can be totally sure that entertainment is never a waste of time.
