Brith of the idea:

Following the last general chapter at Rome and following the recommendations  of the Mel in 2005- 2006, Brother visitor suggested to the principal of the college  Mr Salim Gereige  the idea of having  a center for the children with special needs Mr Salim, being an active member in “Faith and Light “ for 20 years and being convinced with the importance and the necessity of realizing such a project , accepted and named Mrs Manna’a  as responsible .

The idea started humble with 5 children but the need increased and the number rose to 12 and w had to reject lots of cases to guarantee a good start.

The  choice of specialists was more or less difficult regarding  their limited number in the region as this field is restricted in the north .
